The original message:

Volunteer opportunity in Turkey!

Hello everyone (opportunity to practice yoga and spiritual practices in Turkey)

Iโ€™ve been spending the past few days volunteering in Butterfly Valley, located on the southwest coast of Turkey, as a work for stay scheme with food and activities included. The valley hosts glamping tents as well as a variety of wellness activities like yoga and Reiki, among many other workshops. Iโ€™ve been helping the team with digital marketing and social media, alongside a variety of onsite tasks like bartending, housekeeping, reception, and admin. The work is 5 hours a day with a day off each week.
The valley is between high cliffs and opens up to a quiet beach. Itโ€™s nice and remote, only accessible by boat so super peaceful.

Benefits include

Free yoga and meditation session
Discounted scuba lessons (you can swim with the turtles!)
free paddle boards and kayaking
private tents as accommodation and all three meals (vegetarian options available)
Live Music

The area is so beautiful, and itโ€™s also a place where you work closely with other travellers as well as local workers and guests, so it’s been a really nice way to meet so many lovely people. It’s also a great way to integrate and learn about Turkish culture while also doing fun activities like paddle boarding. You can even start your day off with a swim by the beach!

If youโ€™re considering coming as a volunteer or just want to visit for a few days, Iโ€™m happy to answer any questions or share more details. I’m currently volunteering here and I can’t recommend it enough!

Feel free to reach out.

Also, the instagram has a lot of information and is a good reflection of the vibe here @butterfly.glamping
