Visas and entry requirements
Visa and entry requirements can change and depend on nationality and the activities involved. Do not rely on historical information in older listings or assume that an invitation from a host guarantees entry or makes a volunteering activity legally permitted.
Under current conditions, security and travel considerations should be assessed before any question of participation. If travel becomes appropriate again in the future, verify visa and registration requirements through official Sudanese authorities or the relevant diplomatic mission.
Supporting communities without travelling
People wishing to support communities affected by the conflict may consider established humanitarian organisations, verified fundraising initiatives or remote volunteering opportunities that do not require entering Sudan.
