What can a campsite exchange involve?
Activities may include preparing pitches or tents, welcoming guests, cleaning shared facilities, gardening, painting, maintenance, outdoor work, organising activities or helping with the daily running of a campsite. Tasks and conditions vary considerably between projects.

Accommodation, meals and practical conditions
Accommodation may be provided in a tent, caravan, cabin, shared room or another structure. Some opportunities include food and accommodation at no cost in exchange for voluntary help. Others may provide accommodation only, request a daily or monthly contribution or offer a paid seasonal role.
Before travelling, confirm the expected hours, days off, meals, sleeping arrangements, bathroom and laundry facilities, internet access, local transport and any equipment you need to bring. Campsite conditions may change according to the weather and season.

Voluntouring is not a travel agency, employer or placement service. It does not manage applications, payments, visas, insurance or travel arrangements. Communication and any requested contribution are arranged directly between the volunteer and the host.
