Check whether compensation is a salary, pocket money, tips or exchange benefits, and confirm the working hours, days off and legal employment or immigration requirements before accepting the role.
Bartending and hospitality
Some projects look for experienced bartenders, while others include basic bar support within a broader hospitality role. Ask whether you will be serving alcohol, preparing cocktails, handling money or working late-night shifts, and what training or supervision is provided.
Minimum age, alcohol-service rules and licensing requirements vary by destination. Do not assume that being old enough to travel independently automatically permits you to serve alcohol or work behind a bar.
