Ecovillage volunteering in Mexico. This volunteer exchange takes place at Roca de Hadas, an eco village in the making in South Jalisco, Mexico, about 30 km north of Colima. The host is looking for motivated volunteers (solo or couples) to support practical projects connected to permaculture and natural building, with a typical schedule of 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, and two days off. Minimum stay: three weeks. Food and accommodation are offered, and the environment is simple and nature-based.

What’s the mission of your community? ๐ŸŽฏ

The eco village in the forming, on top of being a lovely place to live with like minded people, will provide seminars, classes, trainings related to permaculture, bioconstruction and services for healing and personal development (yoga, medicinal plants, meditation, massage, organic food, etc…)

You will learn a lot since we invest time in volunteersโ€™ education about permaculture and bio-construction. For this reason, the minimum stay is THREE WEEKS, so we can recoup our investment in you ๐Ÿ™‚

5 hours x 5 days. Two (2) days off after 5 days help.
You can stay at the ranch during days off.

Our expectations: be motivated and committed. Follow rules and safety instructions, especially when using tools.

For a social and quality experience, we don’t use phones during work, meals and social time. If you have a concern (a REAL one, like a kid or parent in the hospital), we will provide a phone number to call during work, meals and social time.

You may be allowed to use tools for a personal project.

Nature and outdoors, hiking. The cute village is at a 25 min walk. There are buses to Colima city and Guadalajara.
