Homestay Volunteering in France
A single mother and teen son are looking for a volunteer to help around the homestay in the beautiful Pyrenees in the South of France. Looking for a 6-month live-in arrangement, with room and board and meals at the house in exchange for 25 hours per week of cleaning, some au pair support for the teen, land work and some admin and social media support. You must have a current driver’s license, and we have the car. Perfect for those who want to explore the many hiking trails of the Pyrenees over the spring and summer months. Weekends are your own if you wish to explore other parts of the south of France. You must be health conscious and a non-smoker and like animals. We have three cats and 4 turtles.

The lady of the house is an international speaker and author, specialised in regenerative investing and development and travels for work. Our family’s commitment is to expand regenerative practice in the world, which delivers systemic impacts across ecology, economy, society and culture/heritage and is the most effective way to reverse the effects of climate change. We are looking for a values-aligned volunteer who wants to contribute to this kind of systemic impact in the world by volunteering in a support role

Note about the volunteer work and other expectations ๐
Some adept computer skills and some savvy social media know-how is desirable; must be fluent in English, some French skills are good but not essential. Must be a non-smoker. We also provide wifi. We live on a hobby farm of 10,000 sqm, so there may be some land-based work from time to time. Sometimes the lady of the house ravels for work, so you’d be expected to be at home during those times to support the teen and make sure he gets to school.
