This page is for volunteer opportunities where scuba diving is genuinely part of the experience or the work itself. On Voluntouring, that usually means marine conservation projects, reef monitoring, underwater cleanups, or other ocean-based placements where time in the water has a real purpose. We do not use it for every beach or island listing, only for projects where diving is clearly relevant. Each listing should explain clearly whether diving experience, certification, or beginner-friendly training is expected.
