A Social Cafe is a place where different activities (related mainly to non-formal education and learning) are held, such as:

• computer
• language courses,
• career guidance and
• vocational training courses,
• other cultural exchanges

with the aim of intercepting different learning needs but also to encourage the first steps towards integration all around the world.

A social Cafe space has usually computer stations in the bar area or tables where people can sit and exchange information.

This allows the guests of the centre to drink a coffee or tea while participating in the cultural activities.

Social Cafes can usually accommodate volunteers for free (food and accommodation in exchange for their skills and knowledge).
