Wiki Hostel and Pantasema Social Farm

Wiki Hostel is located in a green area in Zagarolo, in the Roman Hills southeast of Rome. Today the wider Wiki Family project combines hospitality and coliving with intercultural activities and the connected Pantasema Social Farm.

The social farm focuses on the relationship between people, animals and nature, alongside environmental education, social inclusion and sustainable living. The project works with a large interspecific family that includes goats, donkeys, cats and dogs.

Volunteering today

Volunteering continues to be part of Wiki Family and Pantasema Social Farm activities. According to the current project information, opportunities may include:

• helping care for goats, donkeys, cats and other animals in the Wiki Family;
• supporting the vegetable garden and activities connected with natural agriculture;
• helping collect, reuse or build equipment for the social farm;
• supporting events, activities and workshops connected with inclusion and environmental education;
• taking part in occasional action days and workcamps.

Pantasema also states that it periodically welcomes WWOOF volunteers. Availability and the type of help needed can therefore change during the year.

Community and cultural exchange

Intercultural exchange remains an important part of the project. Wiki Hostel describes a community environment where travellers, colivers, local people and project participants can meet through shared activities.

Depending on the season, the wider Wiki CoLive experience may include shared meals, skill-sharing activities, walking tours and hikes, social farm open days, local events and other community initiatives. Participation in these activities should not be assumed to be part of every volunteer arrangement, so check the current programme directly with the team.

The practical conditions of volunteering should be confirmed directly before applying. The current official pages do not publish a single fixed volunteer package covering accommodation, meals, working hours or minimum stay.
