Monkton Wyld Court is a Grade II-listed rectory with an organic garden, vegetarian kitchen, and a warm, welcoming community. Volunteers are invited to join short-term (two weeks), longer-term (depending on project needs), or as local volunteers from nearby areas.

Volunteers help with gardening, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the house and grounds. Itโ€™s hands-on, physical work, expect to spend time outdoors in all kinds of weather. In exchange, youโ€™ll receive shared accommodation in one of the Courtโ€™s outbuildings, vegetarian meals (often sourced from the garden), and plenty of opportunities for relaxation, including walks, library access, games, and evenings by the fire pit.

  • Volunteers work around 35 hours per week with two days off.

Sensible footwear and work gloves are essential. While Monkton Wyld can sometimes host adults with children, this is limited and may require a contribution toward room and board.

Pets cannot be accommodated.

  1. I am a motivated and open-minded young person from Georgia who is eager to explore new cultures, ideas, and perspectives. Growing up, I have learned the value of independence, responsibility, and strong communication. I enjoy meeting new people and creating meaningful connections, which is why I believe I would be a great fit for an international camp environment.

I am currently focused on my personal and professional growth. I am hardworking, adaptable, and always ready to challenge myself. I have experience working with people, which has helped me become more confident, patient, and understanding in different situations.

What makes me unique is my ability to stay positive and calm even in stressful environments. I am curious about the world and always willing to learn something new. Being part of this camp would not only be an opportunity for me to grow, but also to contribute my energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to the community.

I truly believe that stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing new environments is the best way to develop as a person, and I am ready for that journey.
