Seeds of Change volunteer projects in Ghana and Cameroon โ€“ Our health projects aim at helping more people in poor areas get basic healthcare, lessen diseases, and make overall health better. In Africa, each healthcare worker is responsible for 5,000 patients. As a volunteer or intern, you’ll help local nurses and doctors in District or Regional Hospitals with medical tasks you’re interested in.

You’ll be a health worker with community nurses and doctors. Your jobs can include working in the consultation room, medicine dispensary, or operating theatre. You might help with physical therapy, treat small injuries, assist with moms giving birth, and take care of children. Sometimes, you’ll help midwives on home visits, check or write down patient information, and join the team for trips to help people in poor communities.

There’s a big problem – there aren’t enough medical workers, and patients are suffering every day. By joining our health projects, you can be a part of making healthcare better for those who need it the most.
