Help with animals and farm activities in Costa Rica
Updated November 2025. This listing describes a volunteer project on a rural mountain farm near Dos Bocas, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. We could not confirm its current status, so interested volunteers should always contact the host directly and check availability and conditions before making travel plans.

Volunteers can learn Spanish through daily conversation and discover typical food, customs and rural life. One of our long term ideas is to build a traditional โtrapicheโ, a rustic system used to extract sugar cane.
