Join the Volunt2Thai project in North-East Thailand and support community activities, including local schools and village life. Tasks can vary by season and may include teaching support, agriculture, construction, arts & crafts, sports, and occasional campus events.

You may get to try different activities, from sports and yoga to language support, farming, baking, cooking, and basic tech workshops such as computer lessons or simple media projects, depending on the needs on site.

Are you interested in volunteering in Thailand? Volunt2thai (V2T) Campus & Cultural Center accepts interns/volunteers year round for activities in:

  • agriculture
  • construction
  • teaching support for 5–15 year old children (English, music, basic computer training)
  • art & crafts
  • sports

All these activities take place during the school term and at V2T summer school at the village temple.

In addition, you may also be required to help organize events, seminars, and training days at the V2T campus. The program is led by V2T and supported by local representatives, school directors, and teachers.
How many volunteers can we host?
The project states it can accommodate up to 24 volunteers per month (ideal number).

Volunteering in Thailand: example daily routine

In the morning, depending on the daily tasks, groups may go to a school to support activities, or work with farming families in rice paddies, forests, water areas, construction places, and homes (depending on season).

  • 07:00 Shower, breakfast and morning meeting
  • 08:30 Divide into teams, go to school or other project activities
  • 12:00 Lunch and rest, depending on the project site
  • 13:00 Work continues
  • 15:00 Work ends, evening free time
  • 19:00 Dinner (volunteers cook in the campus kitchen)

Fees transparency 🔍

V2T describes itself as an independent campus and cultural centre supporting education and community projects. The host states it operates without government grants, so volunteers are required to fund their stay.
