Help at Jungli, a community-run nomad village (South India)

Volunteers at Jungli Nomad Village in South India: community campfire gathering in the forest, aerial view of the eco-village surrounded by dense jungle, and volunteers walking along a green forest path.

We came across this opportunity via our Facebook group and the project website. Jungli (The Nomad Village) is a community-led, forest-side coliving village in South India, built on ancestral land and surrounded by wild trails and old bungalows. The vision is simple and ambitious: create a place where people can live and work with more meaning.

Volunteers help bring spaces to life, improve day-to-day systems, shape creative projects and support early community-led initiatives. It’s hands-on, real work in fresh air, the kind where you end the day pleasantly tired. Expect jungle paths, a quiet setting and a front-row seat to how an intentional community is built.

What’s included is straightforward: your stay and meals are covered while you contribute. The team welcomes thoughtful, resourceful people, builders in the broadest sense, from practical makers to people who like organising, communicating or calmly getting things done.

If “quietly relentless” fits your style, you’ll likely fit right in.

This is real work — and a rare opportunity.
You’ll help us bring spaces to life, improve the everyday, shape creative projects, and support our first community-led initiatives (yep, even merch!).

What’s in it for you:

  • ðŸĄ Stay + food
  • ðŸŒŋ Jungle trails, crisp air and work that doesn’t feel like a performance
  • 🧠 A front-row seat to how something wild and intentional comes alive

We need all kinds of builders — thoughtful, resourceful, quietly relentless.
