HIVE is a festival where ravers gather to celebrate many kinds of electronic genres. Techno, Hardstyle, beach parties by the lake, Psytrance, Hitech and more! Join us in our mission to inspire the festival guests to party with mindfulness and respect for our surroundings. Help us raise awareness about waste while keeping the vibes high! We’re going to collect the rubbish at the festival and interact with visitors in a fun way to change their behaviour towards rubbish.
Volunteering with the Psyclean Crew is a great opportunity to enjoy HIVE Festival a little bit differently, contributing to the party and influencing other festival guestsâ mindset.
Our volunteers work 5 hours per day during the days of the Festival. During the shift, we ensure the festival area remains clean and communicate with guests to raise awareness of how to responsibly handle waste. On Monday after the festival has ended, we all clean up the festival area. While working we want to have a good time, not only to enjoy the work for ourselves but also to be contagious. This way everyone can see that itâs fun to do your part to make the festival a great experience.
In exchange for your contribution, you will receive a wonderful camp designated only for Psyclean Crew members. The centre of it is our community tent, our cosy living room with electricity, a fridge, a tea kitchen, our washing station and our own clean toilet. Please bring your own camping gear to use as your bedroom. We have access to warm showers too. The festival provides two meals per day during the festival and three meals per day on the day(s) after. When our work is done, you will get your festival ticket refunded.

What’s the mission of your community? ðŊ
The Psyclean Crew is a volunteer project that travels to European electronic music open-air festivals to change how festival guests deal with their garbage. We do this as people who want to visit the festival ourselves. As festival lovers, we are part of the littering problem and also part of the solution. We can experience directly the impact of our actions. By dealing responsibly with waste, we automatically become more attentive to the place we are in, the people around us and ultimately ourselves.
By showing how easily you can maintain what you love, we make festival guests aware that they have a responsibility to treat their environment with care. Our goal is to create awareness that people can take home with them. Through positive interactions and keeping the party free from trash, we can influence their perception of littering and responsibility.
Additionally, we get to know fellow volunteers â a perfect match to party together after work. During the six days we live and work together, a small community develops. Deep connections and lasting friendships often grow out of this project.
