Together for the ocean: beach cleaning Norway 🌊

In The Same Boat is a Norwegian NGO that sails along the coast from April to November to clean beaches and islands from marine litter.

Up to eight international volunteers live on board, working about 5 hours a day, 5 days a week with beach cleanups, boat chores and simple research on microplastics. No previous sailing experience is needed and food and accommodation are included, with no fees. Volunteers can enjoy Norway’s spectacular fjords, hiking, stand-up paddling and free diving during their free time, while learning about sustainability, Norwegian culture and life at sea.
