Mashikuna International School’s volunteer exchange in Cumbal, Colombia, focuses on enhancing students’ English language skills and broadening their cultural perspectives. Volunteers will teach English, promote tourism through video creation, and enjoy cultural exchanges and local activities, with food and accommodation provided.
Improve students’ English language skills, focusing on phonetics, grammar and fluency of speech. Grammar lessons will be structured so that students will be able to use the linguistic structures correctly and naturally in their daily communication. Broaden students’ cultural perspectives. Through learning English, they will be provided with access to a vast amount of resources and information about other cultures, languages and countries.
Improve phonetics, grammar and fluency of speech, help students master sounds that do not exist in Spanish and use grammatical structures in a correct and natural way. Encourage constant speech practice, creating an environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. Share cultural aspects of your own country. Talk about traditions, lifestyles, gastronomy and tourist sites. Understand each student’s individual needs and goals, fostering an environment of respect and curiosity for different cultures.
