NEWS! โ In the town of Sainte-Liviรจre, a stone’s throw away from the Lac du Der, an interesting summer program called L’Arche De Renรฉ Animal-tion is looking for enthusiastic individuals ready to embark on an exciting journey. The program, designed for adults aged 18 to 45 with mild intellectual disabilities or behavioural issues, offers an extraordinary opportunity to explore life in nature and experience animal-assisted therapy.
General information about this summer opportunity
The initiative is organized by the รclaireuses et รclaireurs de France de Caen (Girl and Boy Scouts of France Caen) and aims to provide a nurturing environment where participants can thrive and explore various outdoor activities. The camp is split into two groups, with one staying in the durable lodging provided by L’Arche De Renรฉ Animal-tion and the other camping under the stars in tents.
This setup allows for a close connection with nature, where volunteers and guests can experience a sense of community and self-reliance among the participants.
The program offers a diverse range of activities designed to promote physical health, emotional well-being, and social skills.
Participants will have the chance to engage in dog-hiking, Cuddle Therapy, Equi-feel, and Agility.
The Mini-Farm experience introduces them to animal care, teaching responsibility and fostering a connection with the animals. Water activities at Lac du Der, including canoeing and visits to the aqua park, along with tree climbing, beach outings, and hikes, promise excitement and adventure.
Organization goals
L’Arche De Renรฉ Animal-tion is about creating a space where people can learn, grow, and imagine together.
The organizers believe in building the program as a team, encouraging volunteers and participants to contribute their ideas and creativity to make the experience as enriching as possible.

This opportunity is perfect for those looking to make a positive impact while enjoying a summer filled with adventure, camaraderie, and the beauty of nature. The contract, known as a CEE, outlines the duration and expectations for volunteers.
