Volunteer exchange on Canada’s Sunshine Coast: hostel help for accommodation

ooden hostel-style lodge with a red roof, forest surroundings and flowering shrubs in Roberts Creek, British Columbia, for a volunteer exchange on Canada’s Sunshine Coast.
Volunteer on the Sunshine Coast Canada. 15-20 hrs per week in exchange for accommodation

A small hostel-style lodge on the Sunshine Coast has been a landmark in the Roberts Creek community since 2004. Located halfway between the coastal townships of Gibsons and Sechelt, it’s the perfect basecamp for all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Roberts Creek village is just a 10 minute walk from the lodge, buses to connect you to the rest of the coast are a 7 minute walk away, with hiking trails, mountain biking parks, beaches, waterfalls and local growers and artisans practically on your doorstep.

Accommodating backpackers, adventurers, families, and anyone in need of a getaway, book a family room, private cabin, a spot in our seven-bed dorm room or campsite and see why the Sunshine Coast is BC’s best kept secret.

Our volunteers assist in maintaining the indoor and outdoor spaces of the lodge. Examples are housekeeping, laundry, chopping wood, mowing grass, gardening, and painting projects.

It’s no wonder people keep coming back.
