Boodaville is an environmental education association dedicated to permaculture and the design of regenerative cultures. Situated in the Matarranya region of Spain, approximately 2.5 hours from Barcelona, the project offers a demonstration site for sustainable living practices. The association provides various learning opportunities, including workshops, collaborative projects, online resources, work experience, and volunteering. Their initiatives encompass developing a forest garden using regenerative agriculture techniques and managing several Solidarity Projects in Barcelona.
Since its inception in 2008, Boodaville has constructed multiple infrastructures such as stone buildings, compost toilets, a shade structure with a water catchment system, a geodesic dome, vegetable gardens, showers, and compost systems. The project has fostered a strong community of collaborators who engage in various activities and maintain connections with local culture. Hundreds of participants have been involved in building projects, events, volunteering activities, and exchanges.

In recent years, Boodaville has shifted its focus from establishing an eco-village to collaborating closely with local towns and villages. The aim is to integrate activities that encourage a transition to more sustainable lifestyles across the region. The association is funded through donations and grants, coordinating EU projects within the European Solidarity Corps and the Erasmus+ program. As a non-profit organization, Boodaville continues to inspire individuals to adopt eco-social design in their lives through workshops, nature connection, games, collaboration, dialogue, and hands-on practice.
