Volunteer at Joseph’s Dream Appaloosas

Natural Horsemanship โ€“Surround yourself with the healing and inspiring spirit of Josephโ€™s Dream Appaloosas in the silence of the African bush! Learn the basics of natural horsemanship, help raise foals, and assist with training and backing horses. Get involved with our childrenโ€™s program, which creates opportunities of healing for disadvantaged children through horses and art. This is carried out in cooperation with the Kayamoja ArtConnects Trust.

You will be involved in the daily care of 35 stud horses and their foals, our miniature horses, Alpacas and crias, and the rehabilitation of neglected equine rescues. Of course, youโ€™ll have time to recharge, relax, get creative and just absorb the beauty of Namibia’s stunning nature and our gorgeous horse family.

During your stay with us, develop new skills, make new friends and work with a great team of people. The consistent core of our program comprises our friendly and talented horse workers from the ancient Namibian San tribe. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce had a dream that all nations could live in peace with each other. Allow yourself to open up and learn the language to be spoken to make Joseph’s Dream a reality in this worldโ€”between people, people and animals, people and this planet.

  1. I am Mohammed from Yemen but live in Qatar, I am 33years old, I found your volunteer announcement and it caught my attention. I am an ambitious young man who loves adventure and like to try new things in life. I am a non-smoker, social and hold a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am very sociable, and I can speak reasonably good English. I would be happy if you could accept me as a volunteer. ๐Ÿ™‚

Please reach out if youโ€™re still looking for someone.
Iโ€™m fluent in English, Arabic and I speak a bit of french. Also, Iโ€™ve been horseriding for 10 years now.

    Best regards,
    Mohammed
