Attention: this organisation charges a minimum fee.
Anyone up for a 1-3 week working holiday in Sicily?
This opportunity could be a bit like an artist residence for performers + creative types, and we are also looking for event organisers, cooks, tech people, and social scientists (psychologists/sociologists/economists).
We are a non-profit cultural and educational centre aiming to help locals get a more international perspective and will provide food, accommodation, informal help with Italian, and opportunities to meet with locals.

Kalat can be a chance for young people between 18 and 35 years old to spend a period of time (1-3 weeks) studying/working on their personal project (based on useful social activities), in order to support the internationalisation in the south-central part of Sicily.
We are based in Campobello di Licata, near the city of Agrigento.

Just finished running some psychology and learning workshopsย atย KALATAnd it’s been a great cultural immersion ๐ยย The organisation is still looking for artists, photographers, cooks, bartenders, archaeologists, game experts, IT people, sociologists, psychologists, musicians, economists and other researchers to create projects, so check them out!ย
They are currently revamping their website so there’s not much info out there but the place is legit.

International workshops
Kalat project (4.2 actions) gives the opportunity to young between 18 and 35 years old to spend a period of time (1-3 weeks) studying/working on their personal project (based on useful social activities), in order to support the international development in the south-central part of Sicily.
People can apply as a single person or as a group (4 people maximum), sending their project ideas through the document here attached.
Candidates will be selected based on their proposals. They will receive room and board, insurance for the whole duration of the activity, types of equipment and tools needed for the realization of the project.
Travel tickets will be refunded up to 200.
If, after buying the ticket, people will give up at the start of the project, the costs of tickets will be not refunded.
Moreover, we will ask each candidate to pay 50 euros per week as a contribution to insurance
and to other costs.
