Volunteer projects with pocket money.
What is Pocket Money?
A long or short volunteer experience in a country of the European Union (or other parts of the world) might offer not only the possibility of learning a new language and choosing different sectors in which to engage but might also cover food, accommodation and transport costs, plus a refund for extra expenses: this is the so-called pocket money.
In Europe, the European Voluntary Service (EVS) allows young people aged 17 to 30 to live abroad for up to 12 months without spending almost a penny, helping to carry out the activities of a non-profit association. With EVS, volunteering is a great opportunity for personal growth, becoming a path that can offer advantages also for inclusion in the world of work. Young Europeans are increasingly aware of this, as demonstrated by the dramatic increase in participation in this program, which began seventeen years ago.

How to use this page
Click on the announcements that interest you the most. Check the date of the publication (some opportunities might be already expired). If the announcement is still valid, look for the contact details section. It is usually at the end of the project description. In that section, you can find free ways to get in touch with the hosting organization (website, e-mail, phone numbers, application form). Send the host a message and wait for a reply.
Noteโ
You may not always receive an answer from the hosts. Candidates letters are often too many, so the coordinators wonโt always be able to reply to all of the volunteersโ messages.
