What is a Youth Exchange and how to participate!
Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live together and work on shared projects for short periods.
They usually take place outside the school environment during which you participate in activities such as workshops, exercises, discussions, role-plays, outdoor activities and much more.
Youth exchanges last between 5 and 21 days.ย They are open to people between the ages of 17 and 30. To be a group leader in a youth exchange, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Youth exchanges are run by youth organizations, informal groups of young people or other organizations.
The EU grant supports as well as travel practices and related activity costs necessary for the exchange.
How to apply
To participate in a youth exchange, it is not possible to apply for a grant directly as an individual. You can send your applications to the organization or the group of young people that select who will participate in the exchange.
