Hackspace Wendland is a community makerspace in the Wendland region of Germany. This queer volunteer project Germany welcomes FLINTA* people to learn, tinker, and grow with open tech and permaculture. Volunteers help with workshops, gardening, animals, cleaning, and web projects, about 4 to 5 hours a day, five days a week. Stays run 4 to 12 weeks. Food and accommodation are included. Vegan and vegetarian meals are common. The space is quiet, creative, and friendly.
Benefits include free access to the makerspace and events, a supportive network, a certificate of service, and a bicycle for easy travel. We can assist with visa letters. The heathland around the site offers hiking and calm nature. We cannot host minors. People with disabilities are welcome, tell us how we can support you. If you seek a queer volunteer project Germany that values inclusion and hands-on learning, this could be your place.
