The Son-Rise Program® is a child-centred, social-relational, play-based home programme for children affected by autism.

What we ask for:
- • 20 hours a week (over 5 days)
- • Initially: 20 hours of supervised training and independent study
Once trained:
- 12 hrs/wk working 1:1 in Son-Rise Program® playroom with child
- 2 hrs/wk evening team meeting
- 4 hrs/wk brainstorming games, creating resources for games, recruiting local volunteers, organising fund-raising activities/events, independent study, attitude reflection
- o 2 hrs/wk supporting the child with physical exercise activities outside the home
Small Print
- • Start January 2019
- • Minimum 6 month commitment
- • Non-smoker
- • Excellent English essential
- • 5 days may include Saturday
- • 1 week holiday every 2 months
- • Up to 3 live-in volunteers may share flat
- • We also recruit local, part-time volunteers
