Volunteering for an eco tourism local guesthouse in Turkey

Volunteer exchange in Turkey – We run a family pension in Köprülü Canyon National Park, Turkey. We are located in a small village surrounded by beautiful landscapes. We have a big garden where we grow vegetables and we also raise animals (chickens and sheep). If you would like a local experience in a great outdoor area, you are welcome to join us.

What’s the mission of your community?

We welcome guests in our pension in an ecotourism spirit. We are looking for a volunteer who would like to experience village life. The volunteer would help us with the pension (welcoming guests, basic guiding support, cooking, cleaning, etc.) and also help with the garden.

  • May to October

  • 4–5 hours of help per day
How many days of help per week?
  • 5 days of help per week, 2 days off

Yes, we offer food and accommodation.

We will serve typical Turkish food and we can accommodate vegetarians.

We don’t charge any fees.

VISA – could you provide visa support/info/invitation letters?

No, we cannot help with a visa, but we can offer practical assistance and information.

Volunteers’ benefits

You will live in a local village and be surrounded by great landscapes. There are opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, canyoning, kayaking, rafting and swimming. When possible, we can also share local tips and short tours.
