​Anahata Yoga Retreat is located in Tākaka, New Zealand. It is nestled amidst native beech forest with spectacular ocean views bordering the Abel Tasman National.

The retreat offers a Karma Yoga Caretaker Exchange program, inviting individuals to engage in a work exchange opportunity. Participants contribute to the upkeep of the retreat center, including tasks such as landscaping, firewood management, maintenance of key systems (solar, diesel generator, grey water), preparing spaces for guests, and maintaining the vegetable garden. In return, they receive onsite accommodation, access to some dry goods, produce from the garden, use of the yoga space for personal practice, and occasional yoga guidance or group practice.
