About the city
La Laguna is a city located on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. Its full name is San Cristรณbal de La Laguna. The city was the former capital of Tenerife and it is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its well-preserved colonial architecture and layout, which influenced other cities in the Americas.
