ESC ecovillage opportunity in Spain! โ€“ If you’re passionate about sustainability, creativity, and community living, an exciting opportunity is waiting for you. GEN-Europe is offering a chance to spend nine months as an ESC volunteer at the Arterra Bizimodu ecovillage in Spain, starting in March 2025.

This program is designed for young EU citizens aged 18-30 who have a knack for communication and a talent for graphic design. As a volunteer, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that support the ecovillage movement while immersing yourself in a lifestyle that prioritizes ecological harmony and slow living.

More about the Ecovillage

Arterra Bizimodu is an intentional community located in Artieda, Navarra, Spain.

Established in 2014, it focuses on sustainable living, community building, and self-governance through sociocracy. The community resides in a former rural hotel, that offers both private apartments and shared common spaces. It also hosts various activities, including regenerative agriculture, renewable energy projects, and educational workshops.

They also offer volunteering opportunities, such as the European Solidarity Corps program, for young individuals interested in ecovillage life and sustainability practices.
