Turismo Rural, Etnoturismo, Voluntariado – ”Exploring Costa Rica’s hidden paradise”

Indigenous project in Costa Rica – We are an indigenous organization located in Southern Costa Rica. The project of Conte Burica promotes Rural tourism, Etno-tourism and volunteering. We have an “indigenous” cosmo-vision and Mother Nature is also the main actor. Our principles are based on the understanding of the relationship between man and biodiversity, and not man as a being independent of it. The project addresses aspects that are developed within the Ngäbes such as language, handicrafts, traditional designs, food, and spirituality. On the other hand, it includes other activities such as

  • reforestation projects (biological corridor),
  • cleaning of beaches,
  • rivers,
  • roads,
  • sea turtles,
  • talks in schools or the community.

The existence of other activities such as camping on the beach, horseback riding, MTB routes, hiking, exploration, trips to waterfalls, night hiking for the observation of nocturnal species, bird watching, cocoa picking, learning about organic production, and many other activities you can enjoy. The entrance to the site is based on 3 points or communities of interest, the community of Buriquí and Campo Verde, and the third point at Playa la Pavas.
