Reforestation volunteering project with an Indigenous community in Conte Burica, Costa Rica

Destino a Burica CR is an Indigenous community project in Conte Burica, Costa Rica, focused on rural tourism, ethno-tourism, culture, nature and volunteering. Volunteers can help with reforestation, beach and river clean-ups, farming, teaching, community activities, research and environmental protection. The project welcomes people who want to learn about Ngäbe culture, traditional knowledge, organic food, native languages and local biodiversity. Food and shared accommodation are included, with no mandatory fee, though donations are welcome. Volunteers usually help 4 to 5 hours per day, 4 days a week, with time to explore beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails and local nature.
