You’ll be lovingly caring for 10 adorable, well-behaved, and friendly rescue dogs.

ðŸķ What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Cooking and feeding the dogs
  • Socializing and playing with them
  • Taking them for beach or street walks
  • Light garden maintenance
  • Weekly shopping
  • Keeping house & garden tidy & clean
ðŸŒī Who are we?
We are Happy Dogs Koh Chang, an established dog rescue since 2012, based on the beautiful island of Koh Chang, Thailand.

⏰ Volunteering hours:

  • 4–5 hours per day
  • Mornings or afternoons
  • 5 -6 days a week
  • Minimum stay 3 weeks!
🧠 What We’re Looking For:

You must:

  • Truly love dogs
  • Speak English well
  • Have experience in dog care
  • Be a team player and easy-going
  • Be reliable, independent & drug-free
  • Have common sense
ðŸĄ Accommodations:
Option 1:
  • 2 comfy ensuite bedrooms with king-size beds w. fan/ac – live in with the dogs
Option 2:
  • 2 small bungalows w. king beds fan/ac (private bath, fridge, kettle) – 3 minutes away by scooter
ðŸ‘Ĩ Who Can Apply?

Solo travellers, couples or 2 friends, aged 24+

Due to limited space, couples or two friends (sharing a room/bed) are preferred.

a volunteer with a small dog at Happy Dogs Koh Chang dog shelter, in ThailandWe here at Happy Dogs Koh Chang are looking for dog-loving, easygoing, but responsible and experienced people to help look after 10 dogs at our foster house.
We currently prioritise on people who are free on short notice and could stay at least for 3-4 weeks. Ideal for couples or 2 close friends.

You are:

  • 22 years minimum
  • Have experience taking care of dogs
  • Don’t mind to get hands and clothes dirty
  • Don’t mind hard work at times
  • Have 3 weeks or more to commit
We offer :
  • free accommodation
  • A scooter / scooter side car
  • free water/coffee/tea throughout the day
  • Days off – depending on # of volunteers
  • a lovely team to work with
  • Unlimited doggy love and fluffy kisses

Hello everyone, we are searching for volunteers: ideally, a couple or two friends that would take care of about 16 dogs (dogsitting) in Koh Chang. You must be comfortable with dogs and have some animal skills, they are really lovely and easygoing dogs. You will learn a lot about their world and their behaviour.

Koh Chang is an amazing island with a lot of undiscovered paths, close to the border with Cambodia, you can take your housemates to the beach.

Your accommodation is huge with a big yard, kitchen, hot shower and wifi.

Coffee and fresh fruit for welcoming to the house.

How many volunteers could you host?
  • 4-5 volunteers

We can offer only accommodation
