:The Boodaville Association provides opportunities for learning about permaculture, ecology and designing regenerative cultures. We are developing a land project and demonstration site in the Matarranya region of Spain โ 2.5 hours from Barcelona, and we coordinate EU projects with the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programs.
We are looking for ESC volunteers from Europe- to start 1st August 2021!
Volunteers will live in Caseres, and work at our permaculture project Boodaville. ESC PROJECT name: โViviendo la Permaculturaโ
When?
We are looking for participants in the second activity that will take place between 1st August until 4th December 2021.

This is a placement for participants with a maximum age of 30 as it is funded by the European Solidarity Corps. We are looking for people who are highly motivated to learn and apply Permaculture, who are responsible and have an interest in nature and outdoor activities. Applicants should have good communication skills and be ready to live in a small community. Where?
For 30 hours a week volunteers will be at Boodaville, a developing rural permaculture centre in the Matarranya region of Spain. Visitors learn about effective & sustainable design techniques in a place with challenging climate conditions.
The long term goal is to create a working example of permaculture principles in action and create an eco-education centre with plenty of space for workshops and courses.

About Boodaville
Boodaville started in 2008 with the purchase of 1.5 hectares of olive terraces and pine forests in a stunning, tranquil location. Over the years, many people in an ever-growing international community have become involved and weโve learned about, and applied, permaculture design during the development of the site. We create opportunities for learning and gaining experience in permaculture design through
- workshops,
- collaborative projects,
- online resources,
- work experience,
- volunteering.
Our current projects include:
- applying regenerative agriculture techniques to grow a Forest Garden in the semi-arid climate of Matarranya,
- managing several Solidarity Projects in Barcelona.
The project has a complex and beautiful story. An important development recently is that we have changed direction away from the idea of establishing an eco-village in the valley, and towards a more collaborative project working closely with the local towns and villages. Also, we’re integrating our activities with a broader aim to encourage a transition to a more sustainable way of life across the region. We are funded entirely by donations. Plus we receive grants for coordination of EU projects (European Solidarity Corps and the Erasmus+).
We are a not-for-profit organisation.
