A Magical Place!

The place that I will be talking about, is a magical place filled with something that no other place has. It is something so different and unique, that can’t be explained with words. But how did all this happen? Was it different nine years ago? Well, you can respond that after. The place that I am talking about is in Tenerife, in the mountains where nearly no one has stepped foot on, but that was 9 years ago, now every day people are visiting to see the magic. But if not for the volunteers that helped bring this place to life, there wouldn’t be a lot to visit.

A little bit of history

Nine years ago, a pleasant couple decided to buy a villa. This was a villa where they could live a really peaceful, normal life as any other villa owner did. However, they went their own way; a way that only talented people can go. They decided to make a place that we all had dreamed of as little kids. So that next day, they started. There were a lot of issues to face, and sometimes even too much, but they never had any thoughts to stop or to even take a break. They loved it, and if you love your job, breaks are something you don’t think about.

In these nine years, they managed to change an ordinary Villa to a place that seemed to be unrealistic. They met volunteers from lots of countries and nationalities, and that was always a very unique experience that they would never forget. Of course, not all people are that great, so there were some really interesting stories that are really not pleasant, but the majority of volunteers are so interesting and fun to talk to.

A different lifestyle and experience

They had dogs, cats and even chickens, and these animals lived their perfect peaceful life not bothered by the hundreds of legs going past them. So every animal that comes to this couple is guaranteed to not live a well fed and calm life from then on. One of the volunteers that I managed to talk to said that in this place, the time goes much faster, so you wake up, you manage to do just a little piece of the enormous park, and you see a sky full of bright stars.

What I love about this place the most is that you never know the time, but that is not at all a problem, and even if it sometimes is, you still don’t think about it as much as you would in another place. As the couple (the owners of this villa) say:

Time is something that always goes away and never comes back, but an experience will always stay with you no matter what!
