EU Aid Volunteers โ€“ Do you want to leave for a volunteering experience in a non-European destination? The We World – G.V.C Foundation offers fully covered volunteering experiences to various volunteers for projects in Cuba, Kenya, Mozambique and Tunisia

Description of the program

After the suspension of many travel projects due to COVID, new international volunteering positions have finally reopened with EUAidVolunteers, the initiative promoted and funded by the European Union Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) in the field of humanitarian aid in several countries including Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia.

The initiative is open to all European citizens who have turned 18, or long-term residents, who want to increase their skills and their professional and human experience.

The projects

WeWorld selects volunteers who will be trained and sent to their local offices in Cuba (for the first time!), Kenya, Mozambique and Tunisia. Volunteers will be engaged in communication and fundraising, logistics, administration, protection or project management activities to ensure support and increase the resilience of the most vulnerable communities.

Junior EU Aid Volunteer in Project Management in Cuba (3 months)

  • CUBA deadline: August 13, 2020
  • Period: from 1st November 2020 to 31st January 2021

  • MOZAMBIQUE deadline: August 9, 2020 and August 13, 2020
  • Period: from 1st December 2020 to 30th November 2021

Economic conditions for all of the volunteering projects

Each volunteer will receive a monthly expense reimbursement, calculated based on the cost of living in each country. Travel costs, health insurance and mandatory vaccines, any visas and accommodation, will be covered by the project.
