Utopia eco-hotel is looking for volunteers! â Hello! We are a Hotel in Lanquin (Guatemala). The best place to enjoy Semuc Champey. If you are looking for a remote place in nature where you can volunteer or join a community project, or even host a retreat or event, Utopia is the right place for you!
Located in the Guatemalan jungle right on the Cahabon river, within walking distance to the National Park Semuc Champey, Utopia offers accommodations for up to 15 people (paying guests), a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for all kinds of activities, as well as 5 hectares of nature and lush places to meditate, do yoga or relax and rejuvenate. Public Transit
There are several shuttles and tour operators working out of Antigua offering Daily shuttles to Lanquin. Let us know your coming and we will pick you up from there. On a budget, you can hop on a Public bus headed for Coban and another bus from Coban to Lanquin total cost would be around $6.00 USD. If you want to travel with more comfort, these are the transportation pricing for the shuttles: Q25 TO LANQUIN LEAVING AT 7 AM/ Q175 TO ANTIGUA LEAVING AT 7 AM/ Q275 TO PANAJACHEL LEAVING AT 7 AM/ Q215 TO FLORES LEAVING AT 7 AM/ Q185 TO RIO DULCE LEAVING AT 7 AM
