Volunteer in India with Kenosis Foundation projects

Three smiling women, including international volunteers and a local host, standing together in India during a cultural exchange project with the Kenosis Foundation.

The Kenosis Foundation, based in Bangalore, India, offers affordable volunteer and internship opportunities for people over 18.

Projects include teaching, childcare, womenโ€™s empowerment, youth exchange, human rights, microfinance, media and communication, and counseling. Both short-term (1โ€“4 weeks) and long-term (3 months to a year or more) stays are available. Volunteers cover their own program fees, which provide accommodation, meals, airport transfers, project placement, workshops, training, and a completion certificate. Applicants should apply 2โ€“3 months in advance to allow time for visa processing. The foundation welcomes TEFL-certified teachers as well as those looking to gain experience with the Indian education system. Fees directly support local projects, as the organization is not externally funded.
