Update (27 January 2026): Voluntouring.org only promotes volunteering and work exchange opportunities for adults (18+). We do not publish or promote placements that accept volunteers under 18.
This page is kept online for transparency. If older posts still appear under related tags, they are being reviewed and removed or edited to comply with this policy.
You can read the current notice here:
under-18 volunteer projects policy page.
If you are under 18
If you are under 18 and want to get involved, the safest route is to start with recognised youth programmes and structured volunteering pathways in your country. Useful places to begin include your national Red Cross or Red Crescent youth network, accredited youth organisations, and official volunteer centres.
You can explore:
IFRC (Red Cross Red Crescent),
YMCA,
and your country’s official volunteering portals or local municipal youth services.
For host organisations
Hosts: we only promote placements for adults (18+). Opportunities accepting volunteers under 18 cannot be published on Voluntouring.org.
If you are submitting an adult-only opportunity, use our form here: submit a listing.
