Volunteering in South AmericaâĶ for independent travellers!
Some of these opportunities are free (you receive free food and accommodation in exchange for voluntary work). Others require a daily/monthly contribution fee for the food and the accommodation. Remember that many areas in South America are still developing and volunteering canât always be a âfreeâ thing.
If you want to have an âimpactâ but you only have a few weeks to do volunteering abroad, then we recommend you to choose the non-free opportunities: you will support the local communities and organizations not only with your skills but also with your money, especially if you can only volunteer for a short period.
Our website, Voluntouring, is not a touristic agency and we don’t do intermediation between hosts and volunteers, nor receive middleman fees. For this reason, you will find that the fees for the volunteering experiences, when requested, are generally much lower than usual.
