Vietnamese Community Volunteering (VCV) is a social enterprise based in Hanoi, Vietnam, established in 2015.
Their mission is to enhance English language education and promote cultural exchange, benefiting individuals regardless of their economic status or background. VCV offers low-cost, subsidized, and free English classes, along with social activities, aiming to boost confidence, improve job opportunities, and pave the way for a brighter future.
Teach English in Hanoi with a Vietnamese NGO that uses language as a bridge between cultures. Volunteers from around the world join local students in a friendly homestay-style environment, helping them practise conversational English and gain confidence to become global citizens. The project aims to break down barriers of language, culture, religion and skin colour through everyday interaction and shared experiences. In exchange for teaching support, volunteers receive free accommodation in fully equipped rooms, three homemade meals a day, an online TEFL course, airport pick up, visa guidance, a certificate on completion and, for suitable candidates, help finding paid teaching work in Vietnam.
