About us
Now we get to brag about us: Peopleโs Planet Project aims to bring Indigenous rights to the attention of civil society and policymakers through documentaries. We work together with non-governmental organizations involved in groundbreaking environmental and human rights issues globally. Those partnerships and the documentaries we produce will enable Indigenous communities to advocate and campaign for environmental and Indigenous rights on a local and global level.
We equip indigenous communities with the skill set to tell firsthand stories through documentary workshops offered by local filmmakers. We are driven by the belief that providing indigenous communities with a skill set to tell powerful visual stories on the unsustainable practices face, will enable policy action around issues that affect the livelihood and well-being of the most vulnerable communities. Stories have the power to drive social change and Peopleโs Planet Project exist to help those stories take flight.
