Aletheia Springs is a small multigenerational community based around the healing landscape of natural geothermal springs in Sonoma Valley, Northern California.
The community stewards about 20 acres of land and invites a small number of Work Scholars to join them for one month between March and October. Volunteers live on-site and take part in daily tasks that support the land, the mineral pools and the summer guest season. In exchange for around 24 to 27 hours of weekly service, participants receive room and board in simple shared accommodations, such as bell tents or a communal bunk room, and share meals prepared with organic whole foods. Alongside practical work, there are community practices, learning sessions and occasional retreats focused on personal and social transformation. The atmosphere is reflective and nature-based, suitable for people who feel drawn to ecological living, restorative landscapes and community life in a rural setting.
