Join the 16th edition of the PREFECO Intercultural Exchange in Morelia, Mexico, a part-time volunteer program where you share your country’s culture in English with high school students while learning about Mexican culture. The commitment runs from February 9, 2026 to June 5, 2026, and the school selects four volunteers from around the world. Applicants should be over 22, have a clean criminal record, and hold a BA degree (or be in the final years of university). Advanced English is required (B2 minimum, C1 preferred) and Spanish is not required. There are no participation fees. The program provides airport pickup, pocket money, a private room with a Mexican host family, and three meals a day. Two all-inclusive school trips are included, one to Chiapas and Tabasco and one to Teotihuacan plus the National Museum of Anthropology (subject to school program changes). Flights and medical insurance are not included. Apply by January 10, 2026.
