Travel and volunteering can fill a day with to-do lists and miles. Pause anyway. Sit in the grass. Notice the wind, the voices around you, the smell of dinner on the stove, the light changing on a wall. These small moments are the reason we go. Give yourself a pocket of stillness, write a few lines in a notebook, say thanks to your hosts, and let the day sink in.
