A White-crested Laughingthrush (Garrulax leucolophus). This species is known for its striking white crest, black eye mask, and brownish body. It is a highly social bird, often found in noisy flocks in the forests of South and Southeast Asia, including parts of India, Nepal, and Myanmar. White-crested Laughingthrushes are known for their loud, melodious calls, which sound like laughter, hence their name. They primarily feed on insects, fruits, and small invertebrates while foraging in dense undergrowth.
