Volunteers share a relaxed, mostly vegetarian lunch at FusionNativa, a rural project in central Chile about an hour south of Santiago. This is a typical break on a 10-day volunteer stay: around five hours of help a day in cooking, gardening, maintenance, small construction or arts, in exchange for meals and simple accommodation (private, shared or tent). Free-time options include yoga, meditation, trekking and rock climbing, plus language exchange with an international crew.
