๐ฟ A Morning at Napuru Waterfalls
If you’re staying in Nkoaranga or Arusha, donโt miss the chance to visit Napuru Waterfalls. Itโs a quiet, peaceful spot not far from the village โ perfect for a day off from volunteering. The path to the waterfall takes you through farmland, forest, and hills, and itโs a great way to see the area from a different angle.
The waterfall itself isnโt huge, but itโs beautiful โ with clean, cold water running down the rocks and a little stream where you can cool your feet. Most days, thereโs hardly anyone there, so it feels like your own hidden spot. Bring snacks, water, and good shoes โ it can get muddy after rain.
Itโs a favorite place for volunteers to relax, take photos, or just sit and listen to nature. If youโre lucky, you might spot monkeys in the trees or local kids playing nearby.
Ask David or one of the locals โ theyโre always happy to show you the way.
