HCF operates in multiple districts in Eastern Uganda, including Busia, Bugiri, Namayingo, and Iganga. The organization collaborates with various partners to implement its programs. For instance, in partnership with Plant a Tree Nation, HCF is working on an agroforestry project aimed at establishing tree nursery beds to raise seedlings for distribution to smallholder farmers and youth clubs. This initiative seeks to reduce land degradation, improve agricultural productivity, and mitigate the impacts of climate change in the Busia and Namayingo districts.
