• Assisting and co-creating workshops with kids.
• Developing soft skills and cooperating with professional artists.

Financial conditions

The project is co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps and food, accommodation, insurance, reimbursement of travel expenses, pocket money and payment for local transport are provided.

Candidate profile

• 18-30 years old,
• residents of European and neighbouring EU countries,
• interested in modern art, creativity, festivals, artistic productions and circus.

The main objective of the project

The foundation prepares activities for the local community of young artists (e.g. the recycling festival or kuglar workplace). Participants will help to prepare, plan and promote the events. The activities are adapted to the willingness and possibilities of young people, also with fewer opportunities, so as to raise their level of soft competencies.

About the zodiac circus = antigravity Foundation (hosting organisation)

The foundation “antigravity” was established in 2018 on the initiative of a group of people involved in all forms of activities of the new circus, open-air and stage theatre, dance, creative movement, fire theatre or circus pedagogy. The aim of the foundation is educational and cultural activities for the local community, especially in the field of supporting talent development, promotion and assistance in the career development of children and young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, as well as adult artists and performers, in the field of performing arts.

About active women association (coordinating organisation)

The association of active women is a non-profit organisation. Since 2002 we have been active on a local, national and international level. We have already hosted 38 European volunteers and sent 78 to organisations around the world. We are well-known, innovative and valued animators of socio-cultural life in the Silesian region. Our staff has many years of experience in working with young people and a great heart for them.
